Testimonials by Pakistani Participants:

MK Ranjha- Secretary Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability (DEPD)  Sindh:

“It has been an honor to be part of this large global team who can rightly be called champions of change for the noble cause of rehabilitation.  It was unique specialized course to cater for the needs of all involved.  It will help us to build upon our professional strengths and deliver effectively. Credit goes to ReALB-HS and JHU team for enabling a high-level participation from Pakistan. As a government representative, I am always available to help and contribute to the cause of rehabilitation and empowerment of people with disabilities.

Ghulam Nabi Nizamai Director General DEPD Sindh:

“For me, the GRLI training was a good experience because I visited Uganda and witnessed how other nations are participating in this training session, as well as meeting with participants from Myanmar, Ukraine, and African countries to learn about rehabilitation. This was a lovely experience with John Hopkins University and a long-awaited reunion with my colleagues. I hope that ReLAB-HS will continue to offer such workshops, exposure trips, and networking opportunities throughout the project’s lifespan.”

Zulfiqar Sario. Sr. Manager HANDS Pakistan:It was an honor to attend such a significant training on such an important subject, and I appreciate the efforts of ReLAB-HS in arranging the entire workshop. This GLRI course has expanded my knowledge and perspective on rehabilitation, and I hope to incorporate it into our existing programs at HANDS Pakistan. I would also like to offer my full support to ReLAB-HS  for any rehab intervention in rural or remote communities, and we would like to implement some of the  rehab interventions using existing resources to make the dream of rehabilitation for all a reality.
